Chinnammal is 8 years old now. At the age of 7, she underwent treatment for a respiratory problem in the Government Hospital at Dindigul. There she was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease . The doctors asked Chinnammal’s parent to go for surgery for her health condition. His father is a daily wage worker, he earns 500 per day.

Chinnammal’s parents were not able to afford the surgery. Her parents approached the VHN in M.Puthurpus PHC(Primary Health Centre). The Staff nurse there guided them to the Free Medical Camp organized by Little Moppet Heart Foundation in Dindigul. Dr. Gopi Nallaiyan examined Chinnammal and she underwent a successful surgery on 26th June 2017.

Now she leads a normal life just like any other normal child. She is going back to school!
