Sankardass’s parents were oblivious to what was in store for them for a month after Sankar’s birth. Thier little darling was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease.

Although it was tough on them, Sankardass’s parents took him to private hospitals where there was just one answer they got-surgery. But the surgery costs were way beyond their means. Just on the verge of hopelessness, they finally saw a ray of hope. Doctors from the Government Public Health hospital advised Sankardass’s parents to attend the Medical Camp organized by the Little Moppet Heart Foundation at Kovilpatti.

As if answering their prayers, Dr. Gopi Nallaiyan and his team examined Sankardass. He was admitted to Devadoss Multispeciality Hospital in Madurai for heart surgery and he underwent surgery on 1st September 2017 .

Sankardass overcome his condition and smile again. His parents, too, are waiting for Sankardass to embark on a new life.
