Jeyaprabu is 11 year old, he is a happy & responsible child in his family. His friends and family, he is person, who help others, if they need his help.  He has an ambition to become an advocate.

Jeyaprabu was 3 years old, when his parents learned that his son suffers from Congenital Heart Disease. They could not come to terms with this development. They took Jeyaprabu too many doctors where they were advised to wait till Jeyaprabu was 5 years old, in the hope that the hole in the heart will close automatically.

However, there was no improvement in his condition even after 5 years and so they consulted the doctors again. Open Heart Surgery was the advice they got. Jeyaprabu’s father was a daily-wage earner, working as a porter in market in Tuticorin District. They weren’t financially sound enough to afford the cost of surgery, so they continued his treatment at the local Primary Health Centre (PHC). Around this time, Jeyaprabu’s parents learned about a Free Medical Camp being organised by the Little Moppet Heart Foundation at the St.Maris Hr.Sec. School, Tuticorin.

Dr Gopi Nallaiyan examined Jeyaprabu and scheduled him for surgery. He underwent surgery on 12th September, 2017. We wish him a healthy and happy life ahead!
